Dakshina Foundation · Matangi Foundation Platform · Last updated 23 October 2026
This platform (https://events.matangifoundation.org) is owned and operated by Dakshina Foundation, a non-profit organisation. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Dakshina Foundation. We value and protect your privacy and comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
When you register for a program we collect the details you enter on the form: name, mobile/WhatsApp number, email address, city, age, gender, occupation, how you heard about us and, where asked, a government ID number. When you pay, we record the amount, payment option and transaction reference returned by the payment gateway.
We also collect non-personal, aggregated data (browser type, anonymised IP, pages visited) through cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner on its own secure (HTTPS) hosted page. Your card, UPI and net-banking credentials are entered directly with the gateway. We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or bank passwords.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only what is needed with service providers who help us run the program — the payment gateway, our messaging and CRM tools, and advertising platforms (for conversion measurement, using hashed data). We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the registration form will still work.
We keep registration and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the program and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Data is stored on access-controlled servers and transmitted only over HTTPS.
You may ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless we must keep it by law). Write to enquiries@matangifoundation.org with the subject “Privacy request”.
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
